heykangaroo senior designer
Heykangaroo was owned by an american designer/coder. He started Heykangaroo to help him with his clients while he was working a fulltime job. Work was ranging from websites, ads and the usual stuff a graphic designer would do. We have a team of 2 designers and a coder ( i hope i remember it right).

wehearts senior designer
This was owned by an american/korean lady based in Plymouth, USA. I started as a freelancer here taking on 20-30 projects per day. Projects like logos, websites and ad banners. When the projects was coming in like crazy, she had to hire more designers, thats when the time I was offered a fulltime job as a designer then later on promoted as a senior. I still do designs while checking the juniors work.

miller global designer/va

99designs/48hours contest gigs
I didn't work for these companies. Their website offers contest, like logo, websites and other stuff. I was jobless for 2 years. I just joined everyday and that supported my family ( i got 2 kids at that time) from that 2 years was countless of returning personal clients from the logos I won. Miller Global was one of the clients that hired me as a full-time designer.

microsourcing web graphic designer
Microsourcing was my last office job experience. We are a team of 2 designers, 2 frontends, 2 backend coders and a manager. This was located in Libis QC, Philippines. We maintained a companies website. They are based in Australia. It was actually one of our counterparts there that told me about contest websites like 99designs. When my contract ended I decided to work from home.

affinity express senior designer
Affinity caters newspaper ads for the USA. Its a local BPO company here in the Philippines owned by Ayala (pretty famous and rich here). This is where I got my adobe indesign skills sharpened like... really sharp :), mainly due to its a mix of seasoned and young designers (were like 250 people per shift) Its a very nice experience due to everyone is sharing talent and techniques all the time.

zagu junior designer
I started at zagu as a engineering staff, I was actually applying for a designer but here in the Philippines, they usually ask for diplomas (will tell you later the story why). But my staff experience was great. My boss loved my presentations. I was the only one using adobe - i think. I was even placed in a managerial training program. One day, the current designer saw me doing my presentations using adobe. He said, he would try to ask if I can replace him (since at that time, he was planning to exit the company) and there it started my designing journey.

school:mapua took up architecture
Architecture wasn't really what I wanted. I wanted to be an artist like my father (which thought me all the basics I need to get started with this career. thanks papa) I managed to get to 4th year but I needed to stop and find work (girlfriend got pregnant - which eventually became my loving wife :)

I kept studying over the years (design wise) plus experience.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
God bless you.
